Is een album aanschaffen verplicht? Nee! Ik laat jullie liever zelf de keuze en daarom is een album een optie.
Is een album belangrijk? In mijn ogen wel, want eigenlijk is het de kers op de taart. Het is zo jammer dat veel mensen hun herinneringen ergens verdwaald geraken op een pc ipv dat ze er iets tastbaar van maken.
Ik ben ambassadeur van 1 van de grootste album leveranciers ter wereld, dus ik kan jullie een heel mooi gamma aanbieden…
Nee! Jullie hadden het intussen wellicht al door, maar jullie zijn baas over heel het gebeuren. Wil je geen koppelshoot en/of familie sessie inplannen? Geen enkel probleem; jullie beleven de dag zoals je die zelf in gedachten hebt!
Bij de meeste trouwreportages is dit een vast onderdeel, maar ik heb ook klanten die dit liever aan zich voorbij laten gaan!
Natuurlijk mag je een zijsprong nemen in het geplande dagschema! Enkele voorbeelden wat andere koppels al gedaan hebben in een spontane opwelling…
- een blitsbezoek aan een familielid in het ziekenhuis of bejaarden tehuis.
- een pitstop in het stamcafé na de fotoshoot (om nog even weg te zijn van de drukte).
- snel een frietje gaan steken tussen het gemeentehuis en ceremonie in.
- een emotioneel bezoek aan een dierbare op de begraafplaats.
- snel een dutje gaan doen voor het avondfeest begint.
Jullie doen wat jullie zelf willen en ik maak er een leuke documentaire van!
Nee! Dat zou maar saai zijn, niet? Ik heb het genoegen gehad om huwelijksreportages te maken in elke Belgische provincie, met flink wat trouwpartijen in de Ardennen. Ook Nederlandse bruidsparen vinden hun weg naar mij, dus Rotterdam, Alkmaar,… staan intussen ook op mijn portfolio.
Reizen is dus geen enkel probleem. Meer nog; ik hou ervan! Voor sommige koppels is het wegens de afstand niet evident om langs te komen in de studio voor een gesprek. Zij leggen meestal hun datum al vast en passeren dan eens wanneer ze een uitstapje Brugge of Gent boeken. Een destination wedding in het buitenland? Graag! Zo trok ik begin 2023 naar Cape Town voor een trouwreportage en eind 2023 staat Marbella op de agenda. Stuur me gerust jullie plannen, maar hou er rekening mee dat verplaatsing -en verblijfskosten niet inbegrepen zijn in een buitenlandse reportage…

Ik trek helemaal mijn plan in alle soorten lichtomstandigheden (felle zon, donkere ruimtes, regenweer, dansvloerlicht,…), dus jullie kunnen op je beide oren slapen. De pakketprijzen zijn bepaald op aantal uren fotografie de dag zelf, aantal uren nabewerking, aantal uren voorbereiding,… en zijn marktconform met de meeste full time huwelijksfotografen. Waarin ik wel verschil is het feit dat ik ALLE geslaagde foto’s aflever en er geen quota is van bijvoorbeeld 500 beelden.
Op een huwelijk zijn veel leveranciers aan het werk, die elk op hun manier alles geven om jullie een leuke dag te bezorgen. Maar na 2 jaar zal niemand meer weten wat je precies gegeten hebt of welk bloemetje er op tafel stond. Fotografie is de enige tastbare herinnering aan jullie huwelijk en voor veel koppels is het album het enige naslagwerk om door te bladeren met hun kinderen (die nog niet geboren waren op jullie trouwdag). Als je een favoriete fotograaf hebt die een paar 100€ boven je budget zit, dan hoeft dit geen ramp te zijn.
Een trouwreportage word vaak 1 jaar of langer voor de huwelijksdatum geboekt. Tegen dan passeren er nog verjaardagen, Kerst,… Als je van die biermanden of shampoo pakketten af wil als geschenk, kan je uw familie/vrienden de subtiele hint geven om online een geschenkbon bij mij aan te schaffen. Deze kan je dan gebruiken voor de reportage, photo booth of een album. Geef toe; wat schelen die paar 100€ op levenslange herinneringen nu eigenlijk?

Is purchasing an album mandatory? No! I prefer to leave you the choice and that is why an album is an option. Is an album important? In my opinion yes, because it is actually the icing on the cake. It’s such a shame that many people’s memories get lost somewhere on a PC instead of turning them into something tangible. I am an ambassador for one of the largest album suppliers in the world, so I can offer you a very nice range…
No! You may have already realized it by now, but you are in charge of everything. Don’t want to schedule a couples shoot and/or family session? No problem; you experience the day as you imagine it! This is a fixed part of most wedding photography, but I also have clients who prefer to ignore this!
Of course you can take a side step in the planned daily schedule! Some examples of what other couples have already done on a spontaneous impulse…
- a quick visit to a family member in the hospital or elderly home.
- a pit stop in the local café after the photo shoot (to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while).
- quickly grab some fries between the town hall and the ceremony.
- an emotional visit to a loved one at the cemetery.
- quickly take a nap before the evening party starts.
You do what you want and I will make an unique documentary of it!
No! That would be boring, wouldn’t it? I have had the pleasure of making wedding reports in every Belgian province, with quite a few weddings in the Ardennes. Dutch bridal couples also find their way to me, so Rotterdam, Alkmaar,… are now also on my portfolio. So traveling is no problem at all. Even more; I love it!
Due to the distance, it is not easy for some couples to come to the studio for a conversation. They usually already set their date and then pass by when they book a trip to Bruges or Ghent. A destination wedding abroad? Please! For example, I went to Cape Town at the beginning of 2023 for a wedding report and Marbella is on the agenda at the end of 2023. Feel free to send me your plans, but keep in mind that travel and accommodation costs are not included in a foreign report…

Certainly not! But there is a difference between an amateur photographer and a full time wedding photographer. This quote makes a lot clear… The amateur makes great pictures when everything goes right. The professional makes great pictures when everything goes wrong and that is what you are paying for! I can do my thing in all types of lighting conditions (bright sun, dark spaces, rainy weather, dance floor light,…), so you can sleep soundly. The package prices are determined by the number of hours of photography on the day itself, the number of hours of post-processing, the number of hours of preparation, etc. and are in line with the market for most full-time wedding photographers. Where I do differ is the fact that I deliver ALL successful photos and there is no quota of, for example, 500 images.
Many suppliers are at work at a wedding, each in their own way doing everything they can to ensure you have a fun day. But after 2 years, no one will know exactly what you ate or what flowers were on the table. Photography is the only tangible memory of your wedding and for many couples the album is the only reference for their children (who were not yet born on your wedding day). If you have a favorite photographer who is a few €100 above your budget, this doesn’t have to be a disaster.
A wedding report is often booked 1 year or more before the wedding date. By then there will still be birthdays, Christmas,… If you want to get rid of those beer baskets or shampoo packages as gifts, you can give your family/friends the subtle hint to purchase a gift voucher from me online. You can then use this for the report, photo booth or an album. Admit; What difference do those few €100 actually make on lifelong memories?
